The Shenley Christian Fellowship is a Baptist Church in the Shenley Brook area of Milton Keynes. It was started just over 25 years ago meeting in a local school but the desire was always to have a place in which people could congregate whether for Sunday worship or week-day activities. Next to the school was an odd shaped triangular piece of land. An extensive survey of homes in the area took place in 2005 and clear priorities emerged people wanted a safe place for young people to meet, a place to meet and have coffee and socialise, activities for toddlers and their parents and sports facilities. Much discussion but the piece of land was not available.

Attempts to find opportunities in a different area proved impossible... then in 2013 the piece of land was made available by the MK Community Foundation. Within a matter of weeks the Fellowship moved to purchase the land a process that proved to be tortuous but ultimately successful. Planning permission, albeit with 28 conditions imposed, was obtained and by October 2015 contractors were clearing the site.

By September 2016 the first phase of the project comprising the main auditorium, rooms and cafe was complete and the picture shows the morning of the first service. Baptist Building loaned 250,000 towards the cost of that first phase.

Phase 2 to construct a sports hall and youth facilities is being actively pursued.
